Additional notes
Read before you panic! In cold process soap, this mica turns orange first, but returns to a beautiful lemon color within 24 hours. Is beautiful!
Usage amounts may vary to lighten or darken the tone. The amounts indicated create brilliant colors without colored foam.
The white MP base will always create a pastel form of the color due to the titanium dioxide in the base.
For use in bath bombs or other bath products (water applications), we recommend using Polysorbate 80 at a ratio of approximately 2% of the total batch weight (dry and wet ingredients). This will allow the color to disperse evenly and prevent the mica from floating on the surface of the water or leaving a ring of color around the tub.
For specific information on mica not available on this page, please refer to the supplied data sheets.
