Snake Island mica is a very dark color: dark green with a blue tint that can veer more towards blue depending on the oils and/or fragrances used in your soap.
The shine remains on transparent Melt & Pour (Glycerin) soap.
And the name?
Snake Island is a real place (it's actually called Ilha da Queimada Grande) where snakes rule the land.
This color reminds us of the thousands and thousands of snakes that we have seen in the National Geographic documentary about the island.
